The Sanctuary of Montecastello
The Sanctuary of Montecastello is the most important place to visit in Tignale. It’s situated on a spur of rock sheer above the lake. It has recently been restored, and is one of the most famous sacred places of the Garda area.
The port of Tignale
Also Tignale has its own port and lido called “Prato della Fame”. This is the perfect place for those who want to spend a day relaxing on a beach. It is provided with a snack bar, sun bed & umbrellas. Near the port of Tignale you can visit a beautiful lemon house, which date back to the 17th century. It has been recently restored.
Olive Oil
Tignale has also a olive mill. Here the olives are pressed to produce an excellent extra virgin olive oil. You can visit the oive mill and taste the finished product.
The Visitors Centre
The Visitors Centre of the Parco Alto Garda Bresciano tells the story of the territory of the Lake Garda, its history and its people in order to help you to know the area better.
